Fiction Reading by Author Stephen Graham Jones

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass., February 26, 2015—Stephen Graham Jones will read from his works of fiction at an event at Williams College on Tuesday, March 3, at 4:30 p.m., in Griffin Hall, room 3. The reading is free and open to the public.

Jones is an author of experimental, horror, crime, and science fiction. He has published more than 20 books of fiction, including Once Upon a Time in Texas, After the People Lights Have Gone Off, and The Bird is Gone: A Manifesto. He has been a National Endowment for the Arts Fellow and a Texas Writers League Fellow, and he has won the Texas Institute of Letters Award for Fiction and the Independent Publishers Multicultural Award. Jones is a Blackfeet Indian.

Jones holds a B.A. from Texas Tech University, an M.A. from the University of Northern Texas, and a Ph.D. from Florida State University. He is a professor of English at the University of Colorado, Boulder, where he teaches courses in creative writing. Current projects include a werewolf novel, a young adult novel, and a comic book.
